Mr. Driscoll received his law degree from the Notre Dame Law School, where he was an editor on the Law Review. He is also an honors graduate of Providence College. Following law school, Mr. Driscoll joined the New York County District Attorney's Office as an Assistant District Attorney, later serving as Deputy Chief of the Frauds Bureau. Thereafter, Mr. Driscoll was appointed Special Assistant Attorney General for the State of New York, and served as First Assistant and Director of the Hospital Division to the Special Prosecutor for Nursing Homes, Health and Social Services.
In 1979, Mr. Driscoll left government service to join a leading white-collar criminal defense firm in Manhattan as partner. In 1994, he and Catherine Redlich founded Driscoll & Redlich. Over the years, Mr. Driscoll has developed a diverse criminal and regulatory practice, with special expertise in the areas of tax, health care, the construction industry, labor unions, and the representation of public officials. His clients have included corporate officers, labor officials, health care professionals, sports figures, attorneys, accountants, and government officials, as well as a variety of corporate clients. He has been involved in many of the high-profile cases of recent years, including investigations of Enron, Arthur Andersen, KPMG, Ernst & Young, Marsh Inc., and J.P.
